On September 27, 2024, Hurricane Helene caused widespread devastation, including catastrophic flooding, significant property damage, and a high death toll, primarily impacting the southeastern United States, with estimates placing the economic loss at over $50 billion, making it one of the costliest hurricanes in recent history. Now, six months post-landfall, many families are still displaced. Life is nowhere near every day for many.
We are heading to Elizabethton, Tennessee, from
March 30 - April 5, 2025, to partner with IDES to help a family who lost everything to this storm.
Space for this trip is limited to 12 people. Participants must be 16 years of age or older. All meals and lodging are covered, but there is a $50 cost.
